Probe

This show reminds me of a 1980's show co-created by Isaac Asimov called Probe. It starred Parker Stevenson who went around debunking ghosts as ball lightning and such. Sort of turning science into a quasi-religion.

I thought the first episode of the show was okay. Not great. Not overly annoying. Agitprop for the Bio-industry. It'd be nice if writers were more interested in telling good stories instead of trying to proselytize to us great unwashed, but whatever. Patrick Stewart has a pretty good voice.

At least the writer knew well enough to rip-off a show hardly anyone has ever seen. I'm still waiting for BBC America to rip-off Misfits of Science. That'll be a good show if they get a nice British baritone in the lead.
