A little torn on Cristal

Despite her bad attitude, I sort of feel for Cristal having to put up with her d-bag fiance, his d-bag mother and his d-bag friends. None of them respect her, and I can understand her losing her cool around them. However, with that being said, if Corey has been treating her like this for nine years, why the hell is she marrying him? Is she severely co-dependent and afraid of dying alone? Is she trying to play the martyr by sticking to a guy who clearly disrespects her? Even Corey's mother told Cristal not to marry him if she was sick of his crap. I figure Cristal has some codependency issues that prevent her from leaving him so easily, especially since they've been together for almost a decade. Maybe she feels that it's too late to dump him and try again. But it's obvious that she won't be happy if she marries him. If she does walk the aisle, she'll probably regret it for the rest of her life. The writing is on the wall with this one, and Cristal doesn't want to see it.

Geek, I had the same exact thoughts as you. When I first saw her I thought "Oh great, here we go again" but the more her story panned out the more I felt sorry for her. Especially having to deal with such a hag of a mother in law! Her fiance wasn't supportive at all, but I can understand him and his friends just messing around. When he said his 'I'm about to marry that' comment I think he was mostly just kidding around, but overall he was totally rude and disrespectful towards her. Those tears she was crying right before and the day of the wedding were very telling. I honestly don't know why she went through with it. How little self esteem must she have to put up with that for 9 years and marry it? It's...sad.

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.

Wasn't he the one that was so drunk he couldn't keep his eyes opened and humped her on the dance floor? That was so sick!

Yes, Corey got completely hammered on his wedding day and could barely keep his eyes open while he was marrying her. It also looked like he was on something else other than alcohol. And then in the exit interview, he said he was looking forward to being a father. Yikes. Hopefully he'll be more mature by the time he and Cristal start having kids, but I won't be surprised if they do a reunion special a few years from now and he's up to same old crap.

I know people who spell their name a lot differently than the more common spelling 'Crystal'. I used to work with a girl who spelled her name exactly like this Cristal.

I'm watching this episode now..Even though she can be a huge physco, I do feel sorry for her!!!! Her POS trashbag fiancė, his jealous *beep* mother, and his friends should all be driven off a cliff!! I was praying that Cristal would have smashed wine bottles over their heads!!
