I'm very late to this party...

I know the show was cancelled a few years ago, but I only just recently discovered it since they started showing reruns late at night. Since then I've been binge watching the episodes on Netflix. It's so train-wrecky that I can't stop watching it.
OMG these women are atrocious! I honestly wonder how many of them made it to their first anniversary. I also wonder why some of the bridesmaids even showed up after all the abuse that was heaped on them!
A couple of brides who struck me as beyond the pale were Jeanine, Tasha and Callie. Seriously ladies, WTF?!

It was the Jeanine episode that sucked me in - I live in Minnesota (Twin Cities) so when I noticed they were getting married here I just had to watch. I notice they got married at the Como Conservatory - beautiful venue although she was completely undeserving of it. Her vows (I thought you'd be a one night stand) were insulting to her groom and I couldn't believe more people weren't telling him to run for his life. I saw her facebook page (and his) and was shocked to learn that she's a teacher?! If I saw this episode and discovered that she was teaching my kids I think I'd pull them out of that school. I also think it's interesting that her facebook profile lists that she's married to Thomas, but his doesn't list any relationship info at all. He's a good looking guy - I honestly think he could have done better.

Callie? That woman is *beep* crazy! Listen honey - your in laws are from a different country and they speak a different language. THEY AREN'T TALKING CRAP ABOUT YOU, YOU WHACKADOODLE! It might have helped if her fiance had translated for her a bit more (Mom says she very much enjoyed the swamp boat ride etc.) but I doubt it. For all I know he was doing that and she just refused to believe him. I wonder if she watched her episode and felt dumb afterward. Probably not. Hey Callie - they aren't apologizing because they don't know they offended you, and quite frankly you don't deserve an apology. They do. You acted like an idiot.

And lastly - Tasha. I kept wondering why no one from either side was telling Jeff to bail out while he could. Then I discovered it was because her own family was beyond overjoyed that she was moving out of the house. Poor guy - he kept insisting that he loved her, and it was pretty clear she didn't care for him at all. Not even a little. With all the eye rolling and gagging whenever he tried to kiss her, I truly wonder why he didn't take the hint and just say 'okie dokie, no problem' when she kept trying to call off the wedding. And her 'vows' were just as insulting as Jeanine's. And reading them off your cellphone? Classy. I wonder if her dad really did change the locks after the wedding. Jeff seems like a sweet guy and he must have the patience of a saint.

Yikes.

*edit*
I want to add that I absolutely ADORE Cristal's tattoo artist for tossing that rude bitch out of her chair. Tisha - If you happen to be reading this, I think YOU are completely awesome and I'd happily get inked by you!

I've been making fine jewelry for years, apparently.

Greetings fellow Twin Citian!
This show has become kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I've been watching the late night reruns of the earlier seasons. It's such a train wreck... Every time I think I've seen the worst, someone even more deplorable comes along.
