Stranded-another award!

Stranded has received two major awards in the last few days - Best Actress (Shanghai TV Festival judged by an international panel of judges) and Best Film in the Long Form Short category at the Sydney Film Festival judged by a panel of Australian judges.
It has also received rave reviews from several LA critics at the LA Film Festival, with one critic giving it one of the most recommended films to see.

Well done to the talented people behind this truly wonderful and uplifting film!

that can't be right because I just checked out the shanghai website and it didn't mention anything about stranded - but hurray for the other awards, about time it got some attention!

If you google "shanghai tv festival 2006 magnolia awards" you'll find the results, although some of the chinese translations are nothing short of bizarre.
