Keep an eye out for the AFI and ATOM awards from tomorrow onwards. If Stranded does well in these awards, I strongly suspect it must be released on DVD. It will have won several prestigious awards here and overseas. Really it has been one of, if not, the most positive received films overseas this year.

reply

That would be good. Although I doubt it would get its own DVD, it would probably be stuck with something else. Still fingers crossed.

reply

It has recently won the Film Critics Circle award for best short and also the Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM) for best short. Congrats to all those involved!

reply

Stranded won the best short fiction film in the 06 AFI Awards!
