Ditto, we got it to watch as a family movie and didn't bother finishing it. Looks like we missed at least one suicide...darn. You might say I lack "culture", but we didn't see much value in this movie.

Yeah... I was kinda disappointed with the movie as well. The photography was great, and it was interesting at the beginning... but it didn't seem to go anywhere after a while.
The acting was good, except when Romulus forgets to keep using the same accent...

The acting was good, even when he changes his accent. Foreign dude trying to fit in with the locals, lets them call him Jack... yeah he'll be slipping in between accents. I come from an immigrant family as well and I slip between languages and accents/dialects in both languages a lot when I'm with my family.
Movie had all its money in the right places, but something was still missing, if you know what I mean.
Would you happen to have any... flan?
