Great film, although you have to be Australian to 'get it'
...to get it's dry sense of humour. Less famous than Chopper, but it also captures the 'low lives' and real 'characters' that actually do exist all over urban cities in Australia.

You don't need to be Australian to get it, but it does help. Otherwise you might not comprehend the ridiculousness of turning down a Ferrari in order to do up a VK Commodore!

I'm Scottish and I loved the film.
There's plenty of people in Scotland who would rather restore an old classic car than acquire a brand new ferrari - Oz has no monopoly on that phenomenon.
Personally speaking I'd take a Jaguar!!!
