hi can somebody please brief me on how the movie ended?! i was watching till the ending where kyoji *SPOILERS* (after sparing his boss life) was escorted to the jetty by the Hawaiian shirt guy and preparing himself to be offed when suddenly my satellite cable lost feedback and i missed the ending...urgh!...so did kyoji die or not?! im greatly disturbed by the nonchalant manner kyoji approached his fate, in fact im greatly disturbed by how everything takes place at its own leisurely pace.

Yep kyoji Died, he was shot by the Hawaiian shirt guy at his own will, you could have called it Assisted suicide. They just finish the movie with the hawaiin shirt guy aimimg and firing a few rounds at Kyoji who is standing on a barge at the docks, you then hear his body hit the water and then the credits start rolling.

Before he shots him The hawaiian shirt guy asks him why didnt he kill the boss and Kyoji replied that his boss looked happy and that his Boss had more reason to live then he did. He then asked the hawaiin shirt guy to post a letter that he was carrying and then he shot him.

thanks! managed to catch a rerun the other day. makes me wonder if people can actually be so casual when approaching their death. also the only thing he cared about at that moment is delivering his letters. letters from the grave. hmmmm.
