Just saw it

I just saw it tonight at New York Film Academy in NYC, Paulo Costanzo and Dir. Paul Fox were there. They introduced themselves and talked quickly about the writer Douglas Coupland and how they shot the film in 19 days. They said that they would answer questions after the film, as soon as the film ends everyone cleared the room ( nobody clapped) I stayed around waiting for the Q & A until 5 people were left in the screening room. Paulo and Paul were gone and i guess nobody liked it and wanted to waste more time on discussing the film.

I personally didn't like the film it had one to many story lines and had a crappy ending. The film had no thought process about anything and was pointless to watch. The one thing I liked about the film was the parents in the film, especially the mother. The mother was done by a really talented actress.

It was a good film, just not a good story.

My friend and I watched Everything's gone green recently, having been a huge Douglas Copeland fan (both of us). I thought it was a decent movie but didn't impact me nearly as much as some of Copeland's novels. It had some great performances and made Vancouver look like paradise, I want to go for a visit now. My friend absolutely loved the film. It's a good, little Canadian film. I hope it does reasonably well.

The entire time I watched this film, all I could think about was how much of a baby the main character was. The film was basically about one boring guy complaining and frowning while absurd events occurred around him.

Not to say I hated the film. I just found it a little too unbelievable at times.
