Any white people like this movie?

Im white, and walked into this movie, completly unknowing what it was. i just had some time to kill and walked into (aka snuck) a random movie after the other movie i watched ended.

the 3 hours flew by. i was the only white guy in a packed cinema, but dammit, it was awesome. 3 hours full of action, romance, twists and great acting. its the kind of movie hollywood wishes it was.

who else loved this?

LOL! We all did - but do not let this be a signal that all hindi movies are like this. Particularly stay away from Dhoom 2!! In the action genre this was top notch, in the realism genre there are many others that are beautiful - but there is a bunch of c**p too - just like in HW.

I'm white and I loved this movie. I didn't know what to expect really, but I have to say that it kept me on the edge of my seat. And the twists! Fantastic. The thing I love about Indian cinema is it's unpredictability. Western stories are so formulaic and predictable, it's like they've been told so many times and the film-makers are afraid to surprise the audience.

It was a great movie. Bollywood has many great movies (but they produce crap also, just like we do over here in the US)

Welcome to Bollywood! ;)
I'm white as a boiled chicken (I'm Polish), but I love Indian movies.
I have seen many, but each and every time I have great fun watching them. My favourite is probably Main Hoon Na (Shah Rukh, Sushmita Sen), then Fanaa (filmed partly in Poland, yaaay!).
Many people tend to make fun of Bollywood movies, that it's kitsch, unrealistic and cliche, but IMHO that is the best part of it! If you forget about American/ European cinema, relax and indulge yourself in the film, you'll experience 3 hours of pure pleasure ;)

showed it to my white friend.

She loved it!

well said my friend. The only people you'll find talking crap abt Indian movies is Indians born in foreign countries. They somehow think making fun of everything/anything Indian would make them an American. I know they're pretty dumb for doing that but they do it. Anyhow, good thing you're honest.

I am a total SRK fangirl. And a white chick too. I love Bollywood. This past summer I watched the whole 94 hours of Chopra's Mahabharata, and I LOVED that.

SO....... yes, I love love love DON. I think it is one of SRK's best roles. He plays his whole range really well, going from the comic simpleton, drunk on bhang, to the evil gangster, to the slightly perverse and sexy clubber. He was just great.

The only down side, is that you can tell that he is not quite the dancer that he used to be....he is definitely aging. But he put everything he had into this role, and he's still got a lot!

It's never "just a film."

Well, I'm not white at all I'm black (not that it really matters), and I just saw "Don" for the first time yesterday and loved it! I can't wait for the sequel in 2010. I really didn't see that ending coming the way that it did! I've loved Bollywood movies for a long time.

And contrary to other posters, I liked Dhoom 2! It wasn't the absolute best, but I liked it anyway.

YES I'M IN THIS VIDEO!http://youtube.com/watch?v=Td1a19cOG3c

I'm not sure why your skin color would have anything to do with your liking or not liking a movie. But since you ask, I am white, from Central Europe, and I just saw Don last night for the first time (I got the 2-DVD set with the comic book). I liked it very much and I'll watch it again soon.

This table is too small for
your beautiful imagination.
