When I started to watch this comedy, I couldn't stop laughin'.

I understand that States lost space race and wanted this propaganda revenge, but don't humiliate yourself by showing russkyes so dumb and cruel - who are you if you've been beaten by such evil imbecils? Many of russian space achievments didn't even mentioned. Joke of those era - when russky sputnik was circlin' around the planet, most of the way it sounded 'bip-bip', but when above US, sputnik sounded 'he-he-he'.

First off, this series wasn't made in "that States". It's a BBC production. The British Broadcasting Corporation.

I think when the US put a man on the moon before the Soviets qualifies as winning the space race.

I always laugh at the "Americans putting the first man on the moon"!
They were so stressed up and stiff reaching their goal, pumping billion and billion of dollars, wasting one rocket after the other, just to get a dam ape up there. Just to be faster than the soviets.

While soviets use the same launch pad for decades.
