Anyone else thinks this show deserves a higher rating?

6.8? That's all? Am I the only one who thinks the show is better than that?

OK, it's not an epic like AKIRA or the Miyuzaki films. It's just a really fun show to watch. It's got tons of action and great humor as well.

I read one online reviewer complaining that it was toned down way too much. First of all, regarding the sex (or, rather, lack thereof here): it's a TV series. OF COURSE there isn't going to be any graphic sex scenes like there was in the (un-cut) OAV. Second, while I really don't mean to diss fans of porn, if you're the type of person who can't appreciate something that has no sex scenes, I pity you. As for brutal violence, this show definetly has it's fair share. (Like the psycho barber...Enough said.)

Anyway, if you're an anime fan who really loves action-packed shows with a good dose of humor, and especially if you're a fan of the OAV "Mezzo Forte" (which this series is a continuation of) give it a try.

I wrote the review and it is acurate. I hate anime porn and Mezzo Forte was just better all around. if you liked it, good for you. Most people found it pretty lame. I think it deserved about a 4 or a 5 rating.
