Question about the mom *SPOILERS*

Obviously, please don't read on if you haven't seen the flick!

NOW then:

1. Was the mom still "whoring" herself out to everyone? In the context of the movie it didn't make sense, since she supposedly "left that behind her" when the dad shows up.

2. Was the WHOLE movie a fabrication?? Since it ends with the whole family sitting in the living room? Did she hate or dad or something given the dirty look she gives him...maybe being abused? Or am I reading too far into it?
