Surely more people have seen 'Mongolian Ping Pong'?

"Mongolian Ping Pong" is what it's known as in some English-speaking territories (Australia for one - now rotating on cable!), and what a sparse entry this has as of mid-2006! And a mere 28 ratings. Am I just a sucker for central Asian landscapes and themes or is this a severely under-recognised film?

Then a literal translation would make a far better title than the madcap-connotations of 'MPP'! (If a possibly less distinctive one for Western markets.)

I saw it last night. I found it very charming and was smiling the whole way though interrupted by a laugh at the silly antics of the boys(the beercan tv antenna comes to mind for example). Left me with a warm feeling in my stomach afterwards.
It was funny, moving and quite beautifully filmed.
