house cleaning roaches, pidgeons, and rats

Who would have thought the filthest animals on the planet were such good housecleaners.

I'm sorry but when I saw the singing roaches it really turned my stomach and then a pigeon snapped one up and it's wings and legs just were left. It's just too revolting.
Am I they only person who is so sensitive here?

Head over to Roger Ebert's site and read his reviews of Enchanted. I got the impression that he was saying that, during the apartment cleaning scene, people were fainting and getting ill in the theater.

hg_b1 - I'm sure they're loads of people who couldn't get past the "yuck" factor.
Either singing & dancing vermin are your thing, or they're not.

Cockroaches are gross, but one-on-one with a can of Raid, and it's game over, roach.

I buried a dead pigeon once - looked like he'd had a heart attack. He was a sorry sight. Not a scratch on him.

Rats have faces and they're cute(and germ-ridden. Yes, I know).

Sorry - got carried away.
I love that scene.

No, the cockroaches were repulsive and ruined what would have been a lovely song without them. Somebody thought that would be funny, or cute, or something, but it just spoiled it. I can't watch this movie a second time as a result.

It's supposed to be funny, that's the idea.

The cockroaches ruined that whole song for me. I couldn't look at the screen. Repulsive.
