London screening?

I know CSB is playing in festivals arounsd the world, so I was surprised to see that there will not be a screening at the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival next month. Anyone know when it will be shown in London?

It took a while, but it did play at the 2007 London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival.

It is terrible!

reply

quite - this film had probably the worst acting even in the lead characters I have ever seen.

I went to the post-screening party, and I was determined to be honest with any of the cast or crew who asked me what I thought of the film. Anyway I did get into conversation with one of the actors (not a lead) and he *did* ask me what I thought. I said respectfully "I'm afraid I didn't like it at all" and then I explained how I thought the story, acting, casting and script were all piss-poor.

He agreed!

I am surprised to see all the negetive comments. While it may not be "movie of the year," I found it entertaining and enjoyed it. I have certainly seen movies with worse, terrible acting, and this movie is far, far from the worst.

I agree about being surprised by the negative comments on here. I enjoyed the film as I see a lot Mel in my friend's as they try to hold onto their outward beauty fearing that would be the only reason someone who wish to be with them. Be with them though not loving them since they've grown too jaded from prior experience. One must figure if Mel's character is still single since he better understands that he's wanting something substantive or if he figures it's already too late for him to find love. Ash's story line is a bit more fantastical - especially as how it resolves in the ending.
