Do the werewolves look cool?

I haven't seen this yet, but am a big fan of werewolves....I was just wondering how the werewolf effects were in this show?

Basically the werewolves are in the style of the wolfman, AKA humanoid even in the face. Basically it takes the human actors and it keeps that, but adds wolf traits to them (lupine eyes, modified facial structure, etc.) along with the usual fur, fangs, and claws. So while they look like wolves (Kim Coates' character looking the most lupine out of all of them) you can also still tell it's the actor underneath, and still recognize them through the wolf prosthetics.

Thanks for the reply, man.
Appreciate it.

they looked awful, utterly retarded.

They were far from crappy. You want crap werewolves, try Cursed.

At least these looked like they were humans that turned into werewolves. In Underworld a 160 pound man turns into a 400 pound wolf. I guess its which way you perfer your legend. I like it looking like a human taking on wolf likeness more than just turning into a 4 legged wolf. Like said above, if you like the Wolfman type or werewolf, these looked pretty cool.

Just watched it tonight. Wow, those werewolves looked like sh!t, IMO

horrible. Dog soldiers being the best followed by Underworld.

Guitardudejosh19, personally I thought they did a pretty good job with the werewolves.

Some people will complain because they didn't transform into quadraped wolves loping around in the woods stalking deer and stuff.

But this wasn't that sort of a WW flick, this was an Urban Biped WW flick, and it was nice that they bothered to give each of the actor/ess's different wardrobe, prosthetics & makeup.

I liked that they didn't even bother showing them morphing from human to were, because that's where a lot of were movies go wrong, which isn't to say that they didn't show them in stages. Ex: The actor not fully morphed to were, still mostly human but with Lupine eyes, and the starts of lupine fangs, and able to speak.

The only fault I find with the were part of the film is the fact that they could have worked on moving a little more differently whilst in were make-up.

The only flying mammal was the bat...before the invention of the catapult that is.

No. That was one of the big problems with the movie. I liked it but they were ridiculous looking.

Very wolfman like and not the typical shoving a wolf's head on a man's body.
