I just came across my tape of this movie. As I started watching it, I thought it was inappropiate. Then I realized I had taped it June 06, 2005; more than two months before Katrina. Eerie. I don't think how I can get you a copy.

I realize I am a little late in the game, but I am desperately seeking any type of copy of Oil Storm by FX. DVD VHS whatever means necessary. I am having extreme difficulty in obtaining a copyrighted, authorized version, at this point I will gladly accept any type of help I can get.

I just got a copy of the DVD following the instructions that texasrose-1 posted on this board a few months ago.

Send an email to [email protected] requesting to purchase a copy of the Oil Storm TV Drama DVD. It is important to specify in the e-mail that you want to use it for private use.

I got a response within 5 business days. I was able to give my credit card and they shipped it out within a week. It cost me 30 pounds (around $50), but it was worth it (I wasn't having any luck with downloading it from suggested sites). It's a good quality DVD and it was great to watch it again.

I have searched high and low for a copy of this film, to no avail. Was there some sort of conspiracy to make this film UNavailable post Katrina?

I don't know if you are still looking for it, but I just got a copy from jennyvision.com. Excellent copy, nice menu and cool packaging. Real fast shipping too.

If you contact the production company, Wall to Wall, they will sell an off copy for private use only. They can be reached at the following email address [email protected]. Just state in your email that you are interested in purchasing a DVD of Oil Storm and they will get back to you with the correct information. Good luck to all!

FYI - FX will be re-airing "Oil Storm" beginning on June 5, 2007 at 8PM EST.
Can't wait. I just went to the FX website to inquire about it and BAM! It is on the front page!

I just checked the local listings for it and on June 5, 2007 at 8pm they are showing "I, Robot", not "Oil Storm". Is it possible it's on another night?
