Anyone seen a French film of similar plot? Know the title?

Hi all,

About a year ago I saw a French film on television which was basically about the world running out of oil and the repercussions it has on the world, mainly following the life of a successful stock broker whose life changes drastically. What follows is a struggle by the human race as their transport, food and medical supplies become severely effected, with news broadcasts and political events resulting in wars.

I don't know the title but I want to see it again. Does anyone know it?
