Killing Bugs for Films

I didn't like the fact that they killed insects in this film.
There is that moth, suffering on the piano and a man squeezing a ladybug...

I hope it was fake...

I think thats ok for a film.

I'm sure it was fake. I don't know about the moth, but him squeezing the ladybug wasn't in the frame so he most likely didn't do it. I'm like you, though, I get upset about stuff like that. I also think it's bad to throw eggs in a film (or real life).

I know from someone who worked on this film that at least 6 ants were accidentally trodden on by membes of the crew and more than 3 moths burnt to death on the lighting.

He wasn't sure of the numbers but the health and safety officer also estimated that over 10 trillion bacteria were killed during washing and cleaning exercises.

A special memorial is planned.

Heh. That was funny.

But there is a difference on whether you do it accidentally or on purpose for a performance.

Priceless!

Get a life.

A ladybug. Really?

Incest, murder, two hangings, a brutal beating leaving a man unable to speak, and the punching of an elderly woman - All this you have no problem with...

Your problem lies with a ladybug? Really? I quite frankly don't understand. I'm going to assume this is some very well done joke. To put it bluntly you would seem like a lunatic if it wasn't.

... I'm just going to laugh! Nice joke! You definitely had at least a few people who believed you were serious!

Hahahahaha.... WOW!

If someone goes about killing small lifeforms all day, there's probably something to worry about, but one getting killed for the sake of art (it wasn't, by the way, unless they made it to look like they were trying to make it look like they didn't, when they did) it pretty much OK. And I'm a vegan.

Also, Opalura, the concern is over whether the ladybird killing was real or not. The incest, murder etcetera are quite obviously not real.

Going by the OP's posting history here on imdb, he has quite an obsession with this "animal cruelty" topic. One wonders (or, at least, I wonder) if the OP is a pro-abortionist, as most PETA and PETA-like nutjobs usually are. It takes a special kind of sickness to condone and even celebrate the murdering of unborn children, even while simultaneously shrieking in horror at the very thought of someone killing a ladybug.

Dear LotrFanboy,
Please don't be stupid.

Thnx.

Keep your views to yourself, especially when the topic has to do with the killing of insects in a German film about a troubled piano prodigy.

How one can go from that to abortion is mind boggling.
