Very Strange

Very strange that someone as intelligent as Ted Ammon couldn't see that his wife had mental health issues and have her committed? Certianly he was rich and powerful enough to do that.

Boggles the mind how common sense just isn't so common.

I thought the exact same thing. The guy was intelligent enough to be a self-made millionaire, but he couldn't see what a looney his wife was. Also, how about a pre-nup, Ted? ...I guess love blinds the best of us. What a tragedy.

Ted probably did try to get his wife into therapy. Certainly, his colleagues would've suggested it too. But she would have resisted. After all, she was delusional and paranoid. There was no point covering it in the movie because it's so obvious. Hey, housewives with disposable income *love* to go to therapy. It's a mark of success when you can afford it. Plus, there's someone to listen to you. Who wouldn't want to go to therapy?

It's awful! From the movie it seems everyone could see she was absolutely psychotic. How was she not committed before she ended up committing murder??? The therapist that said she wasn't stable enough for full custody should have reported her instead to child services and had those poor kids taken away from her! Unbelievable!
