My own personal theory is they removed the original wheel of the steamroller and replaced it with a new wheel that was made out of memory foam(stuff astronauts use) or some other material to prevent him from being injured.

well u might be half right, if he replaced the original wheel of the steam roller with memory foam, the weight of the machine would give it away, but it is possible he had memory foam under the sheets he was laying on.

There are certain tricks like that, that he does, that make me REALLY want to believe he is a different magician altogether; however, it could easily be explained that there was memory foam or something underneath him, that would allow him to NOT be squished by that machine.

I'm going to guess it's memory foam under the sheets rather than the roller itself. Otherwise the roller would not be able to crush all the fruits and stuff at the beginning. This trick is still incredibly dangerous though.

Criss was on Larry King Live describing this particular trick (along with his divorce) and stated that it was an illusion. He even said that he can't really get run over and live.

Yes, his illusions are illusions. That's what stage magic is all about.

Looked to me like the ground below him gave, allowing the steamroller to push him down instead of squish him. I think that was part of the reason for spreading all of that stuff on the ground - so people watching couldn't see what was going on, but if you looked at his body while the steamroller was on him, it looked like it was pointing down Under the ground,

In the same episode, where he levitated while standing right in front of the chair, I don't think it was coincidence that he levitated exactly to the height of the chair.
