This doesn't actually make any sense. Assuming you meant "I would prefer something that doesn't try so hard to be original that it becomes unoriginal," it wouldn't.
It might become chaotic or confused or overburdened with originality (a film that had no elements ever seen anywhere before would be incomprehensible), but too much novelty doesn't turn into its opposite.
Presuming you don't want films to be completely unoriginal, how original is original enough but not too much?
