Please help

Hi guys

I'm playing Obscure for the first time and I am just past the part where you find Kenny - i'm back on the surface and inside the dorms. I needed to pick a lock on a door and suddenly realised that I don't have the wire with me anymore.

I collected all my stuff back when I got out of the cell so I don't understand why I don't have the wire.

Is this meant to happen or has the game gone faulty? Do I need to find a new piece of wire?

Edit: it's ok now, I loaded the game back up and the wire was there. Not sure why it wasn't the first time, just a glitch I guess
