So... it's over. Probable spoilers inside.

So, after watching the conclusion, I started to really feel for Gabbie. After seeing her in surgery and realizing how serious of a decision it is, it entirely made sense why she was acting pretty self-centered through out the show. It's a big deal and I'm glad it worked out in the end for her...

(After hearing about the possibile complications in the last episode, I was starting to have an inkling of how serious it was but...)

Lucas graduated. With top honors. Go Lucas! Also, his father was really accepting and that was very touching...

Raci... Raci surprised me with having all As. Also finally got legal hormones too!

TJ... Coming back to Cypress as Tamar? I guess it'll be good for her and her mother... I don't know.

Any thoughts?

it seems to me that raci, lucas, and gaby have a great ending. i feel sad for TJ/Tamar coz he did say before that his mom can convince him to change back... but who knows, maybe he is changing things in his hometown. Plus, he is so lucky w/ his gf because her parents like him, but if they broke up... whatever. I hope there's a reunion episode where the 4 characters meet... maybe Gabbie will hook up w/ TJ, haha, who knows? Also, that Scott guy (Raci's partner) is cute...

TJ said that he'll never feel at home in that body. I think what it said at the end about him going back as Tamar has caused some confusion, but remember he was visiting home "as Tamar" in the episode too. It doesn't mean he's a she and has decided not to transition, only that he's letting people at home call and view him the way they will and not pushing it for his mom's sake. I'm an ftm and when I go home to my family I have to put up with the old name and pronouns which drives me nuts, but I let them do what makes them comfortable since I only have to live with it while I'm there. I hope that after he spends the required two years home he'll be able to find a place to be happy and himself.

he has to go back, it's part of the deal, and I really doubt his town would be very accepting of "TJ", so for the sake of survival he'll be Tamar until the 2 years is up and probably move back to the states.

So Husselbeck, what kind of killer do you think stops to save a dying fish?

The program said they broke up. But I wonder if maybe it had to do with TJ leaving or TJ decided to be Tamar again. Maybe she felt like Tamar would be different from TJ.
But Stacey seems like she would be accepting of it.

I know for a fact that T.J. is still T.J. because he's still an active member of the trans community, although I don't know any specifics about his personal life with Stacey. Relationships fail or go on hiatus all the time for any number of reasons, but that isn't it.
