Yes they did break up. But at the GLAAD awards in May of 06, TJ proposed to Stacy at the ceremony and she said yes. Very cool moment!

unless tj decided to transition after the series ended, he never chose to transition and go on the hormones. so biologically he's still a female. according to the dvds of course, he said he was going back to cyprus as tamar at the end. however, maybe he did start hormones afterwards.
