Hey! After watching the trailer for this movie,and hearing the song played on acoustic guitar by one of the characters (lyrics something like: Silence is the violence that you do to me ...), I have been trying to figure out who the artist is or whether it is an original piece, as it sounds really familiar - can anyone be of help? Thanks! :)

I haven't seen the film so I don't know, but those lyrics remind me of "Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode. That song starts with "Words like violence break the silence"... could it be the same song? I can't think of another.

It's original...and awful.

It's a very interesting reference about Depeche Mode though.
