Painfully Embarassing

Yet again, a really cheap film whose makers have resorted to reviewing their own film. Why do people never learn that this makes them appear desperate? It's not only obvious to everyone when people do it, but if a distributer wishing to buy there film looks it up on here and sees it, they'll know the production is a camcorder-based joke.

I'm not criticising the film itself, but every low-budget first-time movie maker thinks he and his mates are really clever by posting gushing reviews for their own work. To a distributer, it smacks of unprofessional desperation.

When you have to shoot, shoot! Don't talk!

We're not all mates of the Director/Actors/Producers/Tea Makers. I just find it odd that some people can't accept that a movie made on nought money can still be entertaining. I honestly liked this film. Okay, it's no tour de force, and I doubt hollywood will be quaking in it's boots. But c'mon. Allow me to be amused in peace without all the accusations.

Funny, someone talking about professionalism in the film industry who can't spell distributor...real professional.

I really enjoyed the film....and, I must admit I have Rachael Stirling as one of my 'Google Alerts' and I have never received any alerts about this film even being released, which was for about a week in London never mind reviews.
Where are these "gushing reviews" that you mention with disdain. I would love to read them. Any urls/ addresses on-line we could visit?

Thanks
