Why does Tequila keep two berettas now?

He now has a cross draw holster with two berettas as his standard side arms. In Hardboiled, he used a Ruger GP-100 and only dual wields the two Tokaravs in the tea-house shootout. A police station back then would have issued a revovler of that sort but today, no officer would be allowed to use two handguns. You have to use what they issue you and may keep one back up gun(not two large berettas, maybe a .38) Even though Tequila is a cop who plays by his own rules, I doubt he'd get away with that. Then again, this is the movie/game world, so real life doesn't really matter.

One reason, and I'm being dead serious when I say this.

It's cooler.

Holy Guacamole! We have chips!

Good point. Now that I think of it, using one revolver isn't as much fun as two automatics.

Berettas are John Woo's favourite gun, and in most of his movies the main character uses twin berettas at some point
