Just...not funny

this movie broke the number 1 rule of comedies, they have to be funny. boring, inept, napolean dynamite-ish flick just doesn't cut it in the laughs department. Justin Long was trying but not enough to save this turd. 2 stars because I laughed exactly 2 times (really more of a chuckle)
2/10

Totally agree! Hot Tub Time Machine was way funnier than this turd! I give this a 1/10.

HTTM was mediocre, at best. Too bad you clowns don't get campy films.

These pc-obsessed times are getting old.

Just the moment when Justin Long jumps off the boat was funnier than all of HTTM.

If anyone enjoyed Napolean Dynamite, yet called this unfunny, or dumb, or whatever, then you gotta definitely look and examine yourself as the sole problem. No question about that deal there!!!

This flick was extremely funny, I don't really care for Justin Long, but his role alongside the "Shirts" cat were top shelf, simply top notch in the absurd and hilarious department. Remember it ain't real life, it was meant to be off kilter and it definitely was that and a whole crapload more!!!

This isn't a laugh out loud kind of comedy. There are some movies that are funny but in a subtle way. People still find some things humorous without having to bust a gut. If you don't get that kind of humor, that's fine, but this movie is hardly "a turd." If you're rating it 2/10 just because you laughed twice then that's a really stupid rating system, and your opinion is the only thing that's a turd.

You've gotta be kidding me. You found the diarrhea-fest Hot Tub Time Machine funny?! Wow, yeah....your opinion counts. Not really. 

This is obviously not academy award material. It's just a small, quirky film on a budget that is meant to appeal to people who grew up during a certain era. While there are iconic references to pop culture from that time, the filmmakers don't rely solely on that just to play on sentimentality; they also used some pretty decent actors who were able to bring to life some hilarious stereotypes in a good-natured manner. It's a cute little movie. It's okay to say you don't like it, but it's another thing to call it a "turd" just because you don't or can't relate to it, or expected it to be 100 laughs and only got 2. That's your problem, and you can't tell the difference between your own taste (which sucks, BTW) and a sucky movie.

I can't understand your crazy moon language.
