WTF? Azir in the first movie and THIS ONE?

***Spoilers****

(well at least for the FIRST movie, not this one)

but Steven Bauer's character "Azir" DIED in the first movie! He was eaten by a pack of Raptors as Lorenzo Lamas' helicopter flew away.

Also you know a movie that was filmed in some back water EASTERN EUROPEAN country, by the country side and the fact that all the American uniforms aren't quite right and their M-16s are in fact AK-47s dummied up to look remotely similar. Ugh. Enough of these movies filmed in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria or Poland!

Of course you're right. But then ... does being eaten by a T-rex versus being eaten by Raptors really CHANGE the fact that he's dead and therefore cannot logically appear in the sequel? LOL!

Yeah your right. I myself have wondered what character he is going to play. Hey, you never know he may be a ghost! I have no idea were they are going to go with this movie.

Who knows what the heck that thing was. Only thing we know its prehistoric and it came back to life by computer animations. BTW in the first part do they ever mention they are raptors?

The latest update says that Steven Bauer will be playing a completely different character. I just hope he can hold the picture better than Lamas did. The only reason the first movie held my attention was, if not for the inadvertant hilarity, because I have a silly movie-star-crush on Steven Bauer (You heard me.)

Yes, I saw that he's playing some sort of gung ho military hero. I guess it's doable since they changed the story to the future, Year 2066 AD. No character from the first movie would be alive at that time.

Dr. Kila Marr was right. Kill the Crystalline Entity.

I saw it..is not as bad sa the first one and acting level is quite good but the special effects are just...cheap.

I can't wait to see it! I'm so freaking desperate to see this film! We all know that Raptor Island 1 was a megahit and created a huge fanbase. Who could forget the legendary acting that made the film what it is today! I should expect the same from this film.

oh snap really? Is it better than part 1? If it is then it must be a masterpiece since Raptor 1 was one of the best dino movies out there.

Also, some of the RAPTORS are the same ones that died in the first movie!
