Will they try to get this in at the SXSW Festival or Tribeca?

Which festivals are they shooting for. SXSW is in March and Tribeca is later in the Spring.

Tribeca and/or Cannes is what I heard.

They decided against applying to Tribeca, but I believe they're still going ahead with Cannes.

I haven't heard anything about Cannes, but I believe the film is being screened now at Hong Kong's Filmart 06. Not so much a festival but a sales/distribution event, I think. Arclight Films is taking it. Yay!!

Who are Arclight Films? Will it get wide distribution? Any idea when?

I have no idea, but I know this much- they're the ones who got Wolf Creek so much press, money and success. I hear they're VERY excited about Prisoner. Wide distribution was always the expectation, now even more so.
