Theater release date?

does anyone know exactly when this movie will be released in theaters in pennsylvania?

A couple of places have it up for a July 20 release but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

prisoner's distributor is romar entertainment. i checked out their site http://www.romar.us/ and it lists the film's status as "upcoming" release rather than current. guess the july 20th release date has been changed and they haven't announced a different one yet.

A couple of posters on another message board sent e-mails to Romar Entertainment asking for info about Prisoner's release date. These are the responses they received:

Re: USA release date -
"We have changed our slate and will not be releasing Prisoner.
Thanks for your email."

and Re: TV and/or DVD release in USA [it is currently showing on TV stations in South Africa and in DVD release in Brazil] -
"Our slate has changed and we will not be releasing
this movie. We don't have any information for you
regarding what the execs will be doing with this
movie."

looks like a no-go unless another distributor decides to pick it up...
