Decent Film **may contain spoilers**

Last this on BBC2 last night (30th Oct 2009), it wasn't scary at all; not even when it's trying to make the audience jump. the review made it out that Moira was a witch which is what we're led to believe as the film progresses.

i do have a bone of contention with this film though: it says it's ok for a teenage boy to have relations with an older (lonely) attractive woman. this seems normal in many coming of age stories. if it were a 16 year-old girl under the spell of an older (late-30s) man would we be so accepting? would society as a whole accept that? no one can say yes since we don't have films that deal with stories like that. however the physical relationship between them is any male's fantasy especially at the age Tomas (the film's lead) is.
