Did they actually use Asians or Mongolians in the film...? Just asking cause most Mongol or Genghis Khan flics tend to use only other-than-asian people in it...

I've seen it, but I'm not sure if the actors where mongolian or not.
The Grassland looked like the real mongolian stepp, the actors could have been chinese. Overall a pretty good synopsis of Genghis Khans exploits.
For a reanacted 60 minutes or so documentary, I voted it 8/10.
