Just trying to figure out why anyone is referring to the workers at the factory as immigrants? They are illegal aliens. Immigrants are here legally, with paperwork.

We learned in grammar school about immigration and emigration and not only do I find it disturbing that he doesn't know what they mean but that he would be so denigrating of these people. However you feel about immigrants coming into the country illegally, you have to have sympathy for the life they lead here. The fact that there was no shut-off for the machine close enough to save the guy's legs is appalling.

No. They were desperate to escape a hell-hole, which socialistic, corrupt-to-the-core Mexico has become, and come to the prosperous, semi-capitalistic United States (O, if we could ever achieve 100% liberty!) in order to make a decent buck. The solution to Mexicans' plight is for Mexicans to clean up their government and institute individual economic liberty in Mexico. The same goes for all the hell-hole countries in the world.
