Never have I believed Ryan Reynolds more in his acting. I kinda almost started thinking "poor guy" for Ryan, not Frank. He is great in comedy, but even better in dramatic roles!
I don't care what you people or my mom think. I like this movie. It's not a "snoozefest" or "long and drawn out" to me.

I just watched this tonight and enjoyed it more than anything I've seen a long time. I laughed out loud every few minutes and when it was time to cry, I couldn't help it. My husband is one of the poor shmucks that will be forced to watch this when he gets home from his trip.
While I enjoyed this movie & couldn't you argue that feeling sorry for Ryan not Frank was a sign of subpar acting?
Shouldn't he make you ignore that he is actually someone else & only see him as Frank.
That said I thought Renolds did a good job. I did not see him as anybody other than Frank while watching this
I agree with you...I never noticed him much until recently. Have you seen him in the movie The Nines? That was pretty good...
