horrible movie

I get sick of seeing movies with happy stupid endings. There is like a 1% chance that anyone would ever forgive their best friend and their wife for what happened. There is 11 of us that just watched this movie, and not one of us would be able to forgive. I wish they would start making more movies like the break up, movies that dont have the happy ending everyone wants.

Hey dumbass, you might want to give us a spoiler alert before you post your comments. You are an idiot!

that was the point of the movie to ask of yourself just liek he did. In the end he realized that he could love her in spite of what had ahppened even though she hadn't deliberately tried to decieve him.

I wouldnt be able to forgive the friend though, his ass would be gone.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film.
Ryan Reynolds is becoming a great actor. And lord he's cute.
Stuart Townsend and Emily Mortimer were excellent as well.

I get so tired of people dissecting movies to death. I just watch them and either like them or not, I don't have to do a dissertation on plot holes.

I thought this movie was funny. The ended wasn't the good part, endings often suck.

Ya I agree. A happy ending in a movie?! What has the world come to?! No, no we have to get on this. Get the director to rewrite this movie. First, we'll have the main character die within the first 20 minutes. Then, we find out that the little girl has cancer, because a large percentage of the worlds population has it, so it wouldn't be realistic if someone DIDN'T have cancer in this movie.

The wife should have also committed suicide somewhere on in the movie, because shes sad, so its realistic that she would. Then the actual father should have just killed himself as well for knowing that everyone was miserable and had killed themselves also.

Is that a better movie for you? Go hang out at hot topic with your goth friends and talk about how life sucks, no one wants you here.

ya i have to admit that this was a pretty good movie and if you did not like this movie at least a little then your soul is sick or something cause u had to feel for the characters a little.

I agree with the original poster The Break Up deserves alot more credit than it gets. This film had is moments but it was not a 7.5 affair.

reply

Yes, because only 1% of people forgive infidelity. Give me a break. What are you basing this off of, your vast personal experience or many years of being a marriage counselor?

reply

I just wanted to write and say I did not like this movie because of the ending but because the wife totally jumped to conclusions on her husband. She would not even listen to him at all, and was totally irrational and jumped to conclusions on his affair. He never even had an affair. She should have been the one apologizing to him.

reply

So you don't like the movie because the wife did something that is entirely possible in real life?

reply

movie was garbage. just one bad sappy song after the other. first thing i said when the credits rolled was "ughhh".
