Orange

Did anyone else notice that there was something orange in every shot. Starting with his socks on the wedding day to the hotel, car of the pregnant lady, phone at the hospital, stethoscope, curtain at the lecture, there was way too much orange to be coincidence.

Also, the set looked like an IKEA catalog.

Some say orange is the color of joy, creativity and passion. So you can say it symbolises his refinding of joy and the stimulation of his creativity when he abandones his old, predictable life.

If you believe in that...

I noticed it too! The frying pan and a cup at breakfast, the ferry worker's vest, the seminar changed time to 11:15 was in orange writing, the wall behind the front desk at the hotel had these orange circles, the tangerinis drinks, the bed spread, the flowers, the paintings/photos and that wall thingy with the circulars holes at the hotel room, the pregnant lady's car, the wheel chair at the hospital, the nurses phone, the cup thrown on Frank, the motel sign, the Doctor's stethoscope (the nurses had a black one just for comparison), the peeing cup (or whatever) lid, the road sign, two oranges in the fruit bowl (the other fruit were one of each), the chairs at the teachers lounge, the class room chairs, the curtain at the lecture, the cigarette lighter Frank is holding at the lecture, the bottle of drink that Susan pours when frank comes in to ask Susan who's the father, Buddy's card is in orange writing, the gun salesman pin/button, the binoculars (I think), the flower pinned to the groom's/Ed's jacket, and finally – Frank's orange socks at Jesse's and Ed's wedding. These are the orange things I noticed, but there could be more, cause I started seeing the movie 15 min in to it.
