why is it titled chaos theory?

I don't get it, is it because the whole flick will be chaotically organized?

Research the term "chaos theory" or "Butterfly effect" and it may make more sense to you... At least this is what makes sense to me...

kinda vaguely, still I am in the twilight zone of the conception. why the wings of butterfly can possibly, at any rate, wage a tempest in the Madison Garden. The entire overlapping, augmenting, exponentially accruing basics don't make much sense to me at all. In my humble opinion, the theory, with all due respect, merely an extravaganza of deliberate paltering and tergiversation.
They are making conscious effort to conceal the immanent inbalance... unsuccessfully.

Exactly elftutor! Which is irrefutable evidence of your stupifying ineptitude! Make more big words with the type-y type-y!

LOL! Tundrafilmic, you read my mind!

Its because the movie is about a team of Zoo Keepers who investigate the murder of Nikita Khrushchev. The reason it is called Chaos Theory is because...

***SPOILER***

The killer is Sam Fisher.

Chaos Theory is the idea that one occurance can lead to something seemingly unrelated. That there seem to be s many random chaotic things happenning in our lives but somehow they could be related. This is explained vaguely in the bar scene when he comes across the guy from the ferry and gets angy at him beacause, he made him mad at his wife and his actions ultimately led him to finding out his dughter wasn't realy his. the two events of not being let on the ferry and finding out about his sterility may seem unrelated but actually come from a long line of cause and effect, which is the basic concept behind Chaos Theory.

reply

Because his wife setting the time forward in hopes of helping him is the catalyst of what happens in the story. And as others have said, the chaos theory basically states that minor, seemingly unrelated events can set off a chain reaction of unforeseeable occurrences. blah blah blah. cause and effect, action and reaction. whatever.

@flutaby_18: your response is probably the most accurate, if not the only answer that was right on. others were just pointless and/or a waste of time reading. I agree with you completely, you explained it very well. :)
