Have you seen the rest of the internet, everybody who bashes a film (or toy or show or book or anything else for that matter) thinks they are Roger Ebert.
It's the nature of the internet, If most people didn't have anything to say negatively about something (whether deserved or not) the internet would be a lot more empty and constructive. It's just easier to sh** on something from behind a monitor than say anything really worthwhile.
Anyway the film played out like a classic Brothers Grim Tale but never explained anything and the ending was too vague. I think that throws a lot of people off. But the film while clearly B- horror to a T wasn't Unwatchable Horrible. The acting a bit poor, the premise a little bit of a stretch but if you willing to suspend belief it wasn't that bad.
I personally would of liked some kind of explanation of the creatures in the woods, I have a lot of creatures from mythology and folklore to guess what they were but no clear answer. Also what was the link between the two final characters was never answered.
5 out of 10 stars. Something I'd watch once but probably never watch again or recommend to anybody but a real Horror Buff like myself but even then with a heads up on the low production values.
But hey just my opinion.
Ok you didn't like the film,
But why so much hatred over a movie?
You need a man hug
