oh come on.. its not that BAD

Okay, read some of the stuff people have said but I have to say after watching it, its not that bad, have seen a lot worse, Actually I think for a low budget they did quite well and the characters were good, loved the Gay twist, didnt see that coming, sorry to spoil it, but dont think I have, anyway if you see this in a local dvd store or according to reports a bargain basement bin, then please think about buying it, trust me, you could have a lot worse than this in your collection. And Breckin Meyer is really good in it also.

I agree, I wouldn't shell out a lot of money to see at the cinema but there are worst ways to pass the time, if it's on TV or a cheap rental it's worth checking out.

I came in here to see what some users wrote before watching this flick that my fiancee picked out. I picked yours out because it did not seem like a negative review - and you gave away the twist!

Don't say "sorry to spoil it". Instead write SPOILER ALERT or SPOILER AHEAD like you are supposed to do. It's etiquette. Now I have to watch this knowing what is going to happen.

Next time...write in "SPOILER ALERT!" or something before you give a spoiler!

I can't think of anything clever to put in here yet.

Yeah i just did the exact same thing!!!

Grrr....im not angry...just...bitterly......dissapointed

I've just watched this film and I can't beleive the stick it's getting here.

I found it a quite diverting slice of life and found pretty much all the intersecting story lines engaging.

Sorry, but the first 15 minutes did not capture my attention. The plots could have been good, but I found most of the accents annoying and there seemed to lack chemistry between the players. They did not seem to be friends/lovers/co-workers . . . they just looked like they were acting in a play.

You must have seen some really awful plays. High school or a local amateur group?

When there is no more room in Hell, The Devil will reapply to the Zoning Commission.

I bought it for $6.99 at Blockbuster and found it to be pretty good. There are some moments that were really funny and some that were okay. I don't regret buying it.

"loved the Gay twist, didnt see that coming"

Yeah like because that's never been done before [rolls eyes]

I agree, I really enjoyed this. People can complain all they like, but I thought it was a sweet movie, a nice way to pass an hour and a half. I had a few laughs and liked most of the cast. Not a mind blowing experience, but I'd doubt that's what anyone expected when they watched this.

Much love and BIG KISSES,
Steph

Actually i think that the american audience is having trouble understanding european cinema (even if it is just a comedy).

Caffeine actually got quite good reviews in europe and everyone i've talked with gave it a mark close to 7-8/10.

Its weird heh?
On the other hand, comedy movies that make people lose their brains in the states, they come in europe and fail miserably (promotion, forgetting sarah marshal, be kind rewind etc etc etc).

ps: i really hate "the promotion" and "be kind rewind". quite possibly the most boring movies of the decade for me. oh well, thank god we can still see a few good movies every so often.

I liked this movie and i liked forgetting sarah marshall, Get him to the Greek, Rushmore, Blades of Glory, etc. I see a lot of comedies from USA and UK, both make good movies.
Maybe you can find more bad american comedy movies, but its just because they do a lot more movies.
I must admit that i give for granted that one comedy from UK is going to be good, or it has more chances to be. I guess i like the fact that a lot look like a teather play in a movie
