The season 2/3 conspiracy was asinine

Mariana told the CIA that she gave evidence of their dumping detainees' bodies in the ocean to Jonas, so the CIA, at least some rogue/corrupt agents, arrange to have the detainees' disappearances pinned on Alpha Team, make it look like they went on missions without orders, and paint them as traitors. This leads to the team fighting back, finding the evidence, and blackmailing the agents into backing off. That's like setting fire to several gallons of fuel that's been sitting in your basement so it doesn't inadvertently catch fire & burn your house down, but the fire you start spreads to your house & it burns down. When the conspirators back off, the team is cleared and nobody higher up in the chain of command seems to acknowledge that it was a conspiracy. Mixed into this is the CIA trying to recruit Bob & getting him to track down Jonas, which actually ends up helping the team. One conspiring agent unnecessarily harasses Molly and is promptly harmed by Jonas. Talk about poking a bear.

Prior to this, the CIA was furious that the team withheld $4 million in stolen diamonds despite the fact that if they didn't withhold them the those would have been left behind anyway as the $10 million worth of diamond were so Jonas, Bob, & Hector could carry out an assassination. I know the CIA, politicians, & bureaucrats aren't portrayed in a great light throughout the show, but geez.......
