shareI don't think petitioning will get the series back...they've probably trashed the sets already.....BUT A FULL LENGTH FEATURE FILM a la SERENITY, WOULD BE GOOD. They could follow up on the "neutron star exploding" scenario, with a post-apocalyptic earth where the infected outnumber the rest?

shareWhat i really hate is that they cancel a show and then decide so sell it to foreign broadcasters. I never heard of the show till a local broadcaster(Veronica in the Netherlands) decided to start on the show. After watching the initial 2 episodes i decided to check up on it on the internet. As expected with all shows that aren't mainstream it was cancelled. I decided to watch the entire season anyway since i did like it, but i must say it is getting to the point that i'm going to screen shows. To see if they're cancelled before bothering with looking at them. Problem with that is that these kind of shows will be doomed if everyone did, but it's more annoying to start on a show to get no closure.
If they do decide to cancel the show they should at least make a book where the entire show and it's continuation up to the ending is written in so i can decide to read the book and get at least some kind of closure.
Oh and about the little boy's line about saving the world.... Well I expected that they would save the world in the end so it's a crappy closure.
A more likely scenario would be a Threshold Movie.
Hey, the Browncoats did it for Firefly/Serenity.....
Exactly....
I think "Threshold" could do it... It'd be a better series than a movie, just like Firefly/Serenity but it's better than nothing, right?

Don't get me wrong, I love Threshold:P
It's just that i'm also a big fan of The O.C., and if it's one thing i have learned is that these petitions don't work. Sadly but true:(
And The O.C. was airing episodes while the petition was available to sign, and even with that huge advantage. It still got canclled.
So i don't think we will get the series back. But a movie sounds Great:D

also good to see brent spiner is acting different then being data..lol
im sure this wont do any good but signed. even though serenity went relativly well it doesnt apear anyone will make any more sci fi movie to finish tv shows and release to theaters.
It would be interesting to see how they could rap the initre show up in 1 movie i think it would be pushing it with this show i know they did that rushed thing at the end but i mean a full proper complete ending.
