No offense but didn't like Molly that much!

I like Carla Guiano but
Didn't like her character Dr Molly at all
She came across as a Miss Know it all
A bit arrogant. She didn't seem to have no soul
Unlike I will admit Cavennaugh or the other three supporting players,
Who really made the show work.
The leads were a bit weak IMHO.
Anybody agree with me on this?

reply

Yeah. Did you see that scene where Baylock asks Molly if she wants to talk sometime. He knows that she is really stressed out because it is her plan and all.

I had a really good idea for a season finale.

One of the mian characters is a full infectee, and the building goes into lockdown mode. Who is the alien infectee?

reply

True she is stressed but still no excuse
Not to be an ice queen
She just seemed like an ice queen to me.
IMHO, think the infectee would be that Brent Spiner character.

reply

And they wouldn't find out until the season 2 opener! Then he would be trying to infect the rest of his team.

I also thought that because Molly, Lucas, or that other guy who were primarily infected one of them could be the infectee.

reply

Well Molly I heard would be phrased out
And that Brent Spiner's character would be the
Main character I read off the internet.

reply

Why are you talking in present tense? This show is dead, and I won't miss it.

reply

Oh really? Well I won't miss Invasion ver much either. Cuz that show SUCKED.

Now you know what it feels like for someone to attack one of your favourite shows for no raisin.

reply

Well again, what WOULD had been a second season
Had the show survived! If it did!

reply

Actually, i could care less.
thx for your input.

reply

Well you are welcome anytime!

I liked her fine at the beginning, but less and less as the series went on. Part of the problem was, that she was supposed to be such a superbrain, having created this program and running it, yet the program just didn't seem to be that great. It's hard to take her seriously as a formidable character, when every week they go from 8 infectees, to a dozen, to a couple dozen, to a couple hundred, to a complete town, etc. The brilliant "plan" seemed to consist of "just in time" reactions, usually in the form of some explosion. Meanwhile, Molly keeps adopting infectees almost like pets instead of eliminating them. We're assured that somehow her brilliant plan succeeds in the end, but all we ever see is a sort of stealthily encroaching failure. Yet she never seems to consider that maybe her plan isn't that great, or might need to be changed.

Flat, drab passion meanders across the screen!

Again the leads were weak
Loved the supporting players
They were the best ones
Of the show
The leads had no chemistry or character.
