BramOh glad we both have common sense on this, I saw 3 episodes back in the day and then watched other things so would like to know.Even if it's a semi conclusion I'd be happy then a massive cliffhanger going nowhere! where you from?
shareThis is perhaps a bit late, and quite possibly you've seen other threads here that address this, but Threshold doesn't end on a cliffhanger. From what I understand, they found out while filming the final episode that it wouldn't be picked up for a second season. It's a shame, in my opinion. It was by no means a perfect show, but the cast was quite good and it's not uncommon for a (especially sci-fi) show to improve in the second season. The first season of Babylon 5 was rather spotty, but I love that show enough that my signature is from it.
In short, Threshold is given a bit of an ending, which is absolutely not a cliffhanger, but I find it a bit disappointing. I just watched it again on youtube (easy enough to find, if you search for it), though the uploader there did speed it up for some reason, making everyone sound like they've inhaled helium. All in all, I'd say it's more worth watching than most other shows. If I had to compare it to another show now, I'd say Fringe. Peter Dinklage and Brent Spriner were the clear standouts to me, even though I didn't know Spriner was Data or anything about Dinklage when it first aired.

I just watched on youtube. I'd never seen the last few episodes until today. I think it got much better towards the end. Was hoping they'd bring back the half alien Dr. if there was a S2. He could have become part of the team. I got my answer as to whether they knew at time of filming or if they did a re-shoot of the final moments. I think they speed up the videos to make it harder for youtube to find and delete if the uploader didn't have permission. Looked like it was from an overseas channel. Still upset after all these years. 😭
