Who's your favorite villain?

I know the obvious choice is Lucifer & it definitely is for me. But only the one in Season 5. Not a huge fan of his late appearances. I like Mark Pellegrino & he's always a delight but nothing topped his performance in season 5.

The writing was just absolutely fantastic that season. Still my absolute favorite season & he just elevated it to another level

I like Crowley but not as a villain. Love him as an anti hero. Amara was decent but way too OP. Most of the others were forgettable

Loved Azazel. He was pretty awesome. And also Alastair. That final actor who portrayed him was absolutely phenomenal. Wish he got more screen time cause he absolutely killed it

Azazel will always be my favourite bad guy. I loved Fred as an actor and what he bought. With Azazel his story felt much more personal to the boys than any other villain that comes after him. I never tired of watching Azazel and what his end vision was.

My other goes to Zachariah and that Kurt Fuller was just pure awesome. Seeing him return not so long ago was a lovely surprise. Kurt knew how to be a good dark villain, and Dean got to do the deed in the end in killing him. Uriel together with Zach both bought a lot to Season 5 which I've never forgotten.

My third choice goes to Cain, the master of death from Crowley's lips just cemented his whole story of who Cain was, how dangerous he was to be around. How magical the guy was in taking Crowley's voice away in just one click was pure genius. Tim knew how to get the best out of the character and he was only on the show a short time, but he knew how to tug at my heart in a way I've not felt for years. First Born was one of my all time favourite episodes, and that fight scene I will never forget.

Crowley and Lucifer are on the list, but they were guys who returned on a regular basis not just on our screens for short intervals. Crowley is one that you loved to hate, and gave the boys a merry dance all the time. It broke me when Crowley took his own life, it just felt empty without him after. Lucifer towards the end became stale, and I hated to think that way about Mark Pelligrino, because I knew the writers didn't give him the best lines towards the end, neither Mark Sheppard. I wanted much more for both of them than what they ended up with.

I never got Alistair or Dick Roman, two least favourites out of the lot.

Azazel was awesome. He had a limited screen time but he was great whenever he was onscreen.

I just had my first ever rewatch of the first 5 seasons. Never rewatched since it first aired.

Anyways, I was genuinely surprised how little screen time both Azazel & Lilith had. Especially Lilith. Remember liking her as a villain. But I honestly forgot how little screen time she actually had.

They always mentioned how she was doing something or planning something but she rarely appeared in the show.

Sam and Dean. All those monsters were just trying to grab a bite...

Or all the stuff unleashed because they wouldn't let the other one die

Chuck even destroyed all of the other universes because of it.

Lucifier yes is the obvious one

Azazel I would say for top favorites. I also did love Abaddon. Alaina Huffman was great. I wish they would've kept her around another season at least

Asmodeus is the worst I think. Nothing against the actor just the writing was awful

I definitely get what you mean with Asmodeus. I feel the same way about Metatron. I don't know if it was the writing or the actor or maybe both but that was one of my least favorite villains.

He was so grating

I liked Arthur Ketch, he was a complicated villain. A psychopath channeled to do "good" for the world. Im sure he fits the mold for many intelligence agents that currently operate around the world.

His return from the dead really surprised me! He redeemed himself which was crazy and fun.
