I think hes a good fit for the role :) Im glad he has something lined up after Supernatural. He seems pretty bummed about the show ending in his latest interviews. Jensen looks a little relieved. I think its difficult to cast Jared in movies because of his height unless hes the lead role. I love both of them.

Well I know Jensen directed a few episodes of Supernatural so I'm thinking he'll do something behind the scenes next. And all honesty I think it'll be hard for him to get a role because he has a southern look/sound(charm) and mannerisms that he cant really turn off If you know what I mean. He would have to play a Southerner. lol and that's coming from a Texas Girl! :P

I can’t see Jared in this. Bless Chuck Norris but Walker Texas Ranger was typical for its time. Cheesy. Predictable. It’s almost painful to watch those old reruns. Lord television was bad back then. (With some exceptions). Can they put a more modern spin on this? Who knows. I’m not sure if it’s that I can’t picture Jared or that I can’t picture a successful reboot of it. Gotta admitI was a little bit sad that Jared got the “Western” over Jensen considering how Jensen has mentioned how much he’d like to be in one.

I am sure Jensen will find something that fits him. Just pleased so pleased that Jared has found something so soon and I can't even remember this old classic so not sure if its cheesy or not. When I think how many re-boots they've done and not been that successful, that is my only main concern. I have tuned into a number and tuned out fairly quickly. Charmed pissed me off because it was just kids playing the roles of grown women who were not even similar to the original cast. Even the original cast were upset over the casting choices and the story telling. I hope it works out for him, I really do. Best news in a while.

BTW its, really nice to see some new posters!

I'm actually not mad at some of the reboots overall these days, i.em Hawaii Five-O, Macgyver (minus the whole wrong guy for his dad thing), and even Magnum. Most of these still have the cheese factor, but like a modern spin. I'm hopeful for Jared on this one.

A thought just struck me earlier, I wonder how long this project has been on the boil? When would Jared have applied for this role? Would this have come up before or after the video tape of the boys packing up the show or well after? As these projects take a long time to get it to the stage of taking it to the networks? Would this have started beginning of this year, for example?
