I've read that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is going to appear in the 300th episode!

I don’t understand why they would spoil that upfront. And Bob Singer says Jensen has a big mouth...I really wish they’d kept that under their hat. Also to be honest I’m nervous over his return. Seriously - name the character that they’ve brought back that they havent either killed or ruined?

I see where you're coming from Aly. I miss the old days when I would watch a show and be surprised with a Guest Star appearing, but then there's the Internet, things get out and reading the beginning credits can also be a dead giveaway.

We haven't seen John Winchester in years (not including the young version). So, his appearance is overdue. With it being the 300th episode, I really hope the show is honored and John's character won't be ruined

AC just relax, we've all been wanting this to happen for eons, I am just savouring this moment as papa Winchester is coming home! This is huge news but I get what your saying about keeping it under wraps naughty of them. It surprises me that Jensen has a big gob lol!

I wonder how they will bring him back?

When I first saw that article, I thought it was a fake article of someone saying, "Why Jeffrey Dean Morgan Should Return for the 300th episode of Supernatural"

It seems (so far) like a well thought out 300th episode. With its title being connected to Kansas and JDM returning. This season for me, hasn't been that great, so I don't want my expectations to be too high.

I also wonder how he will be brought back...ghost? Are we doing time travel? Where exactly is he?

It could be a flashback, so may not be the real him as he is now, so then how would that work since JDM is in his ??'? Time travel episodes are superb on this show so I am really keeping my fingers crossed. I know Sammi you don't want to be disappointed, but this has been a long time coming, and will eat my words if it isn't a good episode once we've seen it. It also depends who's writing it. If Glynn and Berens are I think we are safe.
