Nick

I’m glad that Mark P. is still in the show and we are getting a look at “Nick”. I’m curious as to where the writers will go with his character? What do you make of next week’s previews?

reply

I have some hunch, its a bit of a trick. I still think Lucifer is in there. Whether it be juice or what, I think judging when he went for his friend and raised his fist, I knew it was something that Lucifer just used to do. Just in that split second but I am 80% certain something of Lucifer still exists. This show, might just surprise us yet.

I agree there is (at least) definitely some residual Lucifer left. I’m curious as to exactly who Nick’s neighbor saw the night of the murders, why he recanted, and what will come of that, as well. (Or if it’s even relevant at this point.)

reply

I'm guessing it was Nick himself who murdered his family.

reply

I wonder is that’s the case after all. Maybe Nick was possessed by a demon and murdered them or has a split personality, and either way doesn’t remember doing it?

reply

Hey southern comfort (love the name by the way) - Is it life inprisonment or the death penalty for mindering someone? I’ve always wondered about that. ;). And are there different degrees? First degree, Second degree...

reply

Hahaha! You have no idea how careful I usually am with spelling and grammar. I’m going to correct that right now. 😁

I think that's why the bald guy he was questioning acted so confused. He was thinking, "Yeah... I saw somebody. I saw you."

When Cass said that Nick might still have something of Lucifer still with him, I wondered if it was similar to when Sam still had some of Gadreel's grace left in him. Perhaps there's some grace left in Nick.

If that's the case then maybe Nick will sacrifice himself so that Jack gets back the grace.

Youtube has some ep 3 promos. One shows Dean with a scar on his upper arm that may be connected to the title. That's all I know.

reply

I did consider that if there is grace left in Nick that Jack could possibly receive it. Then again, the writers may leave it where Jack is just 100% human and has to learn to live as such. At any rate, what Nick does to his neighbor in the previews is definitely not the actions of a man in total control of himself.

A sexy scar!

I'm not glad that they are keeping Nick around. They keep changing on what happens to a vessel. Shouldn't Nick be long gone by now? But, I think they are setting up for whatever vessel story they are working on with Dean/Michael.
